I get hit a gazillion times per second here because the zombies are MUCH faster and more agressive than in the older zombies. You could literally outrun zombies by walking the older zombies games.

In BO6 past round 40-50 it really gets difficult as the zombies start becoming fast as hell and they spawn infront of you and you get hit non-stop. Like you literally cant go 10 seconds without being hit.

You need all that extra health with these zombies, if the old hit-system was still here it would be hard to even beat round 30-50 as the zombies just constantly hit you and you run out of plates FAST. And it would be IMPOSSIBLE to make it to a really high round unless you spam scorestreaks. Its already borderline impossible to reach round 100 by training.

We got more powerful and so did the zombies

I also want to clarify that i have been playing COD zombies since 2012. And that this round was one of the milder ones as no mini-bosses spawned in. I should have recorded one of those rounds to show how hard it gets.

  3. the difficulty starting only on round 30 and onwards is the problem

  4. There’s people complaining? The hits and health are very forgiving lol

This is why 95% of high rounders sit in a corner using camping strategies on BO6 rather than run around and train. Most people just sit in the downstairs elevator shaft and spam the waffe and say it’s the easiest high rounds in all of BO6. Not to mention the unlimited mutant injection and kazmir spam as well.

I stopped going for high rounds on BO6 after the ridiculous Citadel Des Morts strat of sitting in a corner swinging the light sword using the augments that stun zombies and refill your health on melee kills. And someone mentioned to me that this isn’t even the easiest/best high rounds strat on CDM anymore….somehow there’s an even easier one involving the fire trap or something. BO6 is far too easy.

I still remember when people at the beginning were complaining that you could get hit 26 times with full armor.

Still not sure where that came from. Maybe that was full armor and jug on a low round? Cuz it’s definetly not hat way in high rounds.

People who complain about the health system being easy have probably never been to high rounds. Zombie damage output increases the higher you go. If you get caught without armour at round 100+, it’s a 2 hit down WITH Jugg, and given how aggressive and fast the zombies are at rounds 55+, you cannot realistically survive without armour.

Lost all armour plates by the end of the clip lol

Bro can we talk about how fire Shattered Veil is? SO much better than The Tomb

Right? Imagine if we had the old health system with this version of the zombies. I’d be clenching my cheeks constantly.

Yep. It’s designed like that. You’re supposed to be annoyed and not have as much fun in higher rounds.

That way you get off earlier, which is what they want. You don’t hog the servers (e.g. the pause timer), and you improve matchmaking (e.g. the 45 minute timer from MWZ).

People were outraged when they added the 45 minute timer to a Zombies mode, due to online-only constraints. So I wouldn’t be surprised if they just redesigned the gameplay to rapidly and unforgivingly ramp up in difficulty, right around the optimal time for players to jump off.

TL;DR: Online-only sucks, and this is a symptom of it.

Currently a little bit past round 100 on the tomb. I have the jugg augments that boost armor plate damage mitigation. Even still a single hit from a boss like mimic or amalgam or whatever they are(there’s like 3 that look the same and I still haven’t bothered to learn their differences) will do 1.5 armor plates and a solid 25% max health, while also slowing me which lets the other 3 that spawn with it hit me too. Thankfully ice staff is OP so no zombies are able to hit me

1: You have infinite Wunderwaffe here, and decide to try to use the Mk2 instead- which has massive falloff unlike the infinite scaling Wunderwaffe?

2: You are running this train sub optimally by running to the left of the burning truck. Running around to the right of the burning truck is much better for late game pathing.

3: Instead you cut to the left and try to “jump through” zombies instead of PHD sliding. Of course you got hit there.

4: You have Kashmirs which drop pretty much nonstop if you use your Wunderwaffe with vulture aid. Like 5+ a round. You also have aether shroud. If you want to not be hit at all, it’s one button tap.

Summary: Every single hit can be attributed to constantly turning around to look at the zombies (not tac sprinting) and then doing nothing optimal to kill them. OR dicking around with the Mk2 for no reason, even ADSing for a period of time which is where you take several hits… in a fraction of the time you spent you can just clear the entire wave with 3-4 Wunderwaffe shots. Of course they respawn quickly… but… just rinse, repeat. The train runs right through an ammo box, assuming you aren’t already getting all your ammo back from the deadshot+death perception augments.

Killstreaks are damn near irrelevant on this map for high round strats. Of course it’s smart to hold one as a backup and/or use them just to speed things up with all the extra salvage… but you say it’s “IMPOSSIBLE” which is downright funny and entirely untrue.

Only thing that pisses me off is getting downed when I have full plates and health yet I get tagged and go down with still 3 plates on and I don’t mean I’m weak replate and get hit I mean when I’m full health the they knock me from full plate/health

  15. DraVerPel

But still u didn’t use phd slider and other helpful things that matter. Not saying about augments and other life saving aspects and tbh health system doesn’t matter that much in this game because armor is overpowering it. Still stupid post and video considering u just stop to look behind couple of time rather than using anything that would prevent this situation. Most of the time people leave around round 30 and on round 30 u can basically stand swarmed for 10 seconds without dying.

  16. Finstersonne

Oh I didn’t know there was this slick HUD Layout, how do you get that?

  17. zack413

It just doesn’t feel good. Even if it’s balanced. U load into zombies on any game bo3 or earlier and there’s often tension and risk the whole game. U can load up any bo6 map beat the whole Easter egg with barely any chance of dying. I like bo6 zombies but it’s just not nearly as fun as any other game. Part of it is probably starting loadouts too. What a stupid addition they keep bringing back.

Pull your knife out and you’ll be fine

  19. Treyarch tunes zombie hit speed as well as the amount of times you can get hit together. In the case of bo3 they increased the pre jugg hit amount to 3 so the zombies could be more aggressive. They then increased the base hit to 4 in bo4 for a similar reason.

It’s not as if people are asking to tune one and not the other. They are both linearly correlated. The system works in bo6 because that’s how it was tuned. They can tune both back down (or even up) if they really wanted
