    I know this is a joke but connecting an hdd through usb as a boot device is a painful thing to see

    I think adding a monitor should fix your fps issue and the game will run better

    you could start by soldering on your cpu, that does tend to give at least a 5% boost to 1% lows

    Some Cooling, some ram and plugging in the power should help

    Try blowing some air on it with your mouth, it will help with thermals.
