I forgot Monday night combat existed. I always saw it as a dime store TF2 so never played it.
Timesplitters was dope for it’s time. can absolutely see what they took from Perfect Dark into the franchise and I love that.

I’ve never agreed with a post like this so hard in my life

Monday night combat is my dream remake. I spent so much time playing it, it scratched my itch despite basically being TF2 and Battleborn had a baby.

Monday Night Combat was so underrated

I just want an SSX HD collection! I would say give me a new entry, but EA would just EA the whole thing up and make us pay for snow or something.

There’s still Monday night combat games going on PC. There’s a discord and everything! Just beware because the people that still play are really good

For what its worth, Fortnite Festival is a pretty solid take on Rockband/Guitar Hero. You can use the plug-in guitars and everything.

They tried bringing Twisted Metal back with TM: Black.
It sucked. It sucked so bad, it killed the franchise.
At least the show was amusing.

Closest you getting to rock band 5 is fortnite festival

SMNC and MNC are still my 3rd and 4th most playtime games on steam. Fun classes, great atmosphere, great balance of pve and pvp with unique map features. Could just be a bit rose tinted nostalgia, but those games were a blast and I wish SMNC was not completely taken off line, because I think I would still drop in for games from time to time.

new licensing rights effectively murdered rock band and guitar hero because not only are they much more expensive, not only do they have to contest with free “mods” that stepmania and beat saber offer, there also going to be temporary and would get removed in a forced update after a year, Just Dance is barely surviving because each “new version” has only 10 songs, the rest are in ubisofts subscription for like $30 a month
You do not want them to make a return because they will only make you buy a bunch of more shit before you get a 1/4th of what they offered 20 years ago

Dude, Timesplitters? You are my hero. The very first game I ever got every achievement for was Future Perfect.

You have Clone Hero and YARG tho. Which are GH/RB but on steroids.

There’s an indie team working on a time splitters remaster, going relatively slowly but looks great.

I genuinely think the height of the COVID pandemic, 2020/2021, would’ve been the best time ever to try and bring back games like Rock Band, DJ Hero and Dance Central/Just Dance. Old school party games to try and keep people home could’ve seen a boom in renewed popularity.

Rock Band Unplugged might have shaped my taste in music… Pearl Jam’s Alive was an incredible choice for starter songs.

Loved time splitters. If you raised the difficulty you would get added objectives to unlock more characters.

PSA- TimeSplitters Future Perfect on Xemu (original Xbox emulator) works great, and you can scale the resolution so it looks sharp. People play online weekly. Also for TS2!

I had equal amount of fun playing time splitters and goldeneye
Both goated from their era
