Astralis have literally nothing to lose
Not astralis, they’re cursed. But given mouz then he’d be serviceable imo

Still baffled that G2 didn’t give him a chance when the oppotunity was there.
2-3 years ago, absolutely (G2 gla1ve in the place of HooXi would’ve been interesting in my mind). now, eh, ENCE is middling, and while the players aren’t incredible (prospective young talents with bright futures, yes, but fully developed, not quite), he hasn’t elevated them above their ability.
maybe he’s a luxury IGL (i.e. he can make good teams great, but he can’t make bad teams good), but we’ve only got one data point… albeit such an anomaly you kinda have to consider it.

ENCE is a weird team. I have been following them for a while. They are oddly good at comebacks but that’s also because they give away advantages too often as well. Glaive shows up quite often(for an IGL) and absolutely carries them on some maps. They have good protocols and I do think Glaive’s calling shines every now and then.
I think he can do good with a team like G2 but it will be risky and I do think they are better off going with someone like Siuhy or Chr1zn.
He just doesn’t have it anymore imho. He wasn’t actually that good of an IGL in ENCE so far and both of the teams he called seemed to perform worse than sum of their pieces. Gla1ve showed nothing so far except that one LAN where they beat Heroic and MongolZ.

Glaive hasn’t done anything outside of the national team. If anything, the only move that makes sense is to transfer him to whatever shit show hunden is working on.
G2 should just get him, even subpar glaive is better than snax lol

Would definitely give him a chance before Hooxi or Snax or Brollan (but Brollan works really well for Mouz squad for now because of familiarity and some degree friendship between him and other Mouz players)
he has some chance of succeeding. but G2 players versus current ence players are not world’s apart. he likely would succeed most in a full danish roster

Ence T sides were ponderous and slow in the recent MRQ which doesn’t reflect well on where Glaive is at the moment
I think people are forgetting just how long it has been since he was the best IGL in the world, I respect everything he has achieved in his career however the last time he won an S-tier event was back in 2020 with the GOAT Astralis lineup and his individual skill is on about on par with Karrigan.
The community have pretty heavily criticised G2 for bringing in Snax however I don’t think Gla1ve is much different, a once great professional that is far past their prime. I also think that Gla1ve returning to Astralis would be a backwards step, he left for a reason and the results under him in the latter years were far from great.
Essntially all of Gla1ve’s achievemnts were done with 5 players all of which are Danish and with Zonic as coach all speaking their native language, he hasn’t really shown himself to be a great IGL for an international team. He had the highest peak of any IGL however his peak is long past and I don’t see him having a comeback.
Astralis is a team with good players, and gla1ve for canadian looks like a great call, though no one deserves this shithole. G2 sounds good, they might spend some cash on a good player or two. Also you always give a GOAT contender another chance until you are certain he is washed, which we all can see is not the case.

Asstralis is surely a big nono for multiple reasons. But any team that lacks an IGL could’ve tried. G2 basically has none if to believe everything we heard.
I would like him at Astralis once again.

I honestly feel like ENCE are like maybe one roster move away from being a top10-15 team. It might sound crazy, but really if you watch their games they have like 3 inexperienced players and that’s why they aren’t consistently good.
