    I was so hyped for this game back in the day, man. This and Star Wars 1313 would’ve fulfilled young me’s fantasies of being a badass sci-fi bounty hunter.

    That SciFi bounty hunter concept was so cool. I really hope we get another SciFi RPG soon, nothing’s really scratched that itch from me since the Mass Effect series, except Cyberpunk 2077

    There’s actually a short gameplay footage on youtube, it looks so good. Original Prey was a masterpiece.

    Meanwhile Prey 2017 knew what it was doing with the title and the IP but it’s a way worse game in every regard.

    Prey 2 is the primary inspiration behind a game I’ve been working on for the last 6 months. Still a ways to go though, but it’s fun to imagine what a newer take on the game would be like.

    That cinematic trailer still holds a very special place in my memory. Too bad the game files will never leak.

    Wow they were that far along? I know they essentially had a full game or at least an engine running with a playable game but to also actually print marketing material is kind of crazy.

    It’s such a shame we never got this game. I think about it every now and then.

    Cant wait for the rereboot of prey, maybe this one will get a sequel. Third times the charm right?

    But on a serious note I loved the prey games we got and I hope we get one of the sequels or previous story elements in a new game, seems unlikely but one can dream

    the fact his didnt get made also tanked the latest Prey since people were so salty about it. Prey 2017 is an absolute masterpiece

    We can never know if that’s what the final game campaign would’ve played out, since it never released, but i’m just thankfull we got something
