I guess their taking an L on the consoles.

Can we get a comparison between the old and new prices? $85 for a pro controller is pretty painful.

  3. iamelloyello

It’s going to sell great, the games will sell well, and we will have a new precedent for stupidly expensive games.

  11. Kalicolocts

And here we are in Europe paying 90€ for the physical version of fucking Mario Kart

  12. VirusOk3164

In all honesty… I’m okay with it being the same price… was afraid the tariffs would make it a lot worse

  13. Elfeniona

Don’t worry, America will do their part in selling Nintendo Switch 2 out.

    Tarifs or no Tarifs

  14. redux44

They must have some juicy margin to eat the tariff, which goes to show how confident they were in picking the high price.

  15. theajharrison

$15 bucks for basic joycon straps???

I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised by a company thats now trying to charge $10 for a hardware tutorial “game” that should be a free pack-in.

People saying all these prices make sense because inflation vs 1990s.

But watch when Nintendo hits record profits this year. It won’t be because of *inflation* it’ll be because of greedy pricing.

  16. No-Pollution1149

Good thing there’s zero reason to get a switch 2 at launch

  17. _StrawHatCap_

People are gonna buy them up still. Other companies will take note and gaming about to get a lot more expensive.

  18. Scott-55-

I refuse to buy a console that chargers so much for their games.

  19. Langilol

Don’t buy it if you want Nintendo to hurt.

  20. Impressive_Lake_8284

Yall enjoy $90 mario. ima go ahead and sing sea shanties with my maties.

  21. BlauAmeise

Not the 80 dollars for the carrying case…

  22. LicensedGoomba

I love how nintendo can get away with a machine that’s nearly 2 generations behind, and introduce an already existing mechanic (making a racing series open world) and thinks that means it’s worth 80 bucks

  23. flushingpot

Well I can’t wait for an emulator

  24. ArbiterOfPancakes

I’m confused why they bothered to hold them at all then 🌺

  25. ArcticFlamingo

Holy shit the accessories are expensive $90 for a controller? $85 for the pro controller is insane

  26. retnatron

People paying this are the same people who tuck their wife’s boyfriend into bed.
