Ok, yes i know, TimeSpy (non extreme) isnt a huge deal, not even 4k benchmark. But…. I have like 12 years of TimeSpy benchmarks and I love keeping track of my new upgrades with the same benchmark. Nostalgia sentimental thing.
So, my scores are absolutely terrible. About 25k for Graphics. Everything else seems to run fine (cyberpunk getting 36 fps native maxed out, Steel Nomad 15k), so I dont think it's a hardware issue. I was getting 34k or something on my 4090.
Also, if you look at the hall of fame for the top 100 5950x + 5090, it looks like between #1 and #100 spot, scores range between 44k and like 18k. So something is clearly messed up.
Anyone heard of this or know a fix? tried a ton of things already (bios update/reset, drivers, tweaked a bunch of PBO/on/off, power settings, etc). Nothings really made a difference. Otherwise probably just a glitch for now?

Try doing a run with SVM and SMT disabled in the BIOS, as well as VBS/core isolation disabled within Windows.
That should get you a solid baseline for further adjusting PBO, Curve Optimizer, system memory timings and GPU clocks.
Just looking at the leaderboards, it should be really easy to claim the top spot for that combo, as most of them are scored lower than the top 5950X+4090 pairings.
