Dude. Welcome to paradise. The game is old as dirt now. But playing it in 2025 for the first time is probably the best time. It’s been so updated with better graphics and content. I’m so jealous lol. This is one of my “comfort” games lmao

It’s good, but I don’t think it’s aged too well. So many carbon copy drauger caves and the difficulty doesn’t scale well. But still worth playing
Kill the chickens in the first town for some quick levels and stuff to sell
Mods on your first play or did you get lucky finding that sword in the beginning? Looks dwarven and I thought those don’t get found until level 12 or higher. Either way, have fun!
I thought oblivion was better. Hopefully they do the guilds better in the next game.

Mod or no?
I’d suggest play the game completely, no mods, then if you managed to not get bored, should try mods then. They are cool to use.. but so annoying to set up, and just gotta hope it doesn’t cause a crash or corrupt it, or some other bug they add.
Either way, it’s pretty fun to go through the first time.

Play kingdom come series next please
After you escape Helgen, there’s a nearby cave/dungeon (I forget the name, help me out someone) that you can grab a bunch of weapons/money/level-up if you detour though it instead of going straight to Riverwood. Doing that doesn’t really affect the story, but you get all that good stuff.
