My Razer laptop overheated playing Vic3 and “popped” like bag of half-nuked bag of popcorn. Still works, but the guts are exposed and the trackpad is nonfunctional. The whole thing bulges out about an inch in the middle. Busted the screws clean out from the heat pressure.
Out of warranty of course.
ArtZen_pl
Yeah, Razer mice are top notch, everything else is just mid at best
Jazzlike-Lunch5390
Their headsets can fuck right off.
LordBaconXXXXX
I love my Viper v2 pro.
WyrdHarper
I like the Tartarus and appreciate that they still make and support a solid keypad. It’s not as good as my old G13, but Logitech killed off that line.
Feel like whether or not you like using a keypad is very person-specific, though.
Ok_Error_5835
I had the keyboard once
Just once. Razer ornata. Worst fucking keyboard I’ve ever had the displeasure of using. Full plastic, membrane, bad stabilisers, worst of all $80
Captain_Obvious101
no one else’s fazer mice have fucked up scroll wheels? My Dav pro 3 and viper 2 pro scroll up occasionally when scrolling down
ApartmentSavings6521
My deathadder is the best mouse ive ever used, and ive only used 3 cheap ones but that doesnt matter
Even-Smell7867
Once I’m ready to pry my wallet open, I plan on getting rid of my Huntsman Elite. Randomly the space bar will register a dozen or so presses instead of just one. The volume knob will randomly increase or decrease my audio and never recognizes the correct input direction when I use it.
McRazyy13
Replaced my Logitech super light X with this mouse. Scroll wheel on that 200 POS went out in like a month.
Been using my Razer for 2 years now (daily) and still scrolling like out of the box.
Szerepjatekos
I just got a starlab titan evo chair.
I’m 124 kg.
Damn thing is like a plank. On my second pillow to keep my ass from bone hurting.
The lean back “rocking” option actually really solid, not a Ballance act, and the height piston keeps me up no prob.
domonanon
Bruh my deathadder had the most dogshit scroll wheel of all time I literally had to press the scroll wheel instead of scrolling it lmao
Aware_Secret9097
my og deathadder lasted 12 years, needless to say i replaced it with a new one
slothbuddy
My Razer mouse slaps. Had it for years now. Lasted a lot longer than my Logitech that everyone loves now. However, the Razer software is basically malware. Installs itself from the mouse like a virus

My blackwidow v2 has survived 3 dishwasher cycles, losing only functionality on the “enter”, “6” and “,” keys. Luckily, all 3 have a spare on the numpad, but i can’t do the “&” anymore without switching layouts.

Razer mice would wind up double clicking on the right or left mouse button the month after the warranty ended.
This happened not once, not twice but three times. That was when Razer mice were dead to me.
I got an OG Logitech G502 and it was great. So great in fact I got a G900 and it lasted until right before the warranty was up and then it double clicked. I got a replacement, which lasted a year. I inherited a basically new G903 and within six months it too did the same.
I dug my old OG G502 out of my closet and have used it ever since. Mice are trash now. They’re clearly being built to fail and I have no interest owning peripherals designed to be bought every year or so.
But that’s my take on Razer, too.
AgitatedStove01
I had a Razer Ripsaw which was their capture card. One day after an update the audio failed to work. We did all sorts of troubleshooting. Nothing worked. We talked to their customer service and they told us we had to pay extra money for audio support.
Now, I know that maybe they were misinformed. So we did it again and they told us something similar. We ended up just buying an Elgato instead. Never looking back.
KrazyKaas
Why Razer when Logitech?
CockroachCommon2077
The Kraken headset is quite good. Had it for a couple years now and is still working well. A little but of peeling because of the faux leather but that happens with any headset with faux leather. Thankfully the ear parts aren’t made with faux leather.
reeefur
100% correct, I only buy their mice. 😂
Inevitable-Edge69
I’m pretty happy with my huntsman mini, wolverine v3 te and viper v2 pro. I don’t consider myself a razer fanboy, these just happen to align with my needs.
rollingaD30
My Orochi mouse was an actual tank. That thing survived my high-school backpack and outlived the MacBook it was paired with. My older PC headphones are incredible and have wonderful sound. I’ve heard nothing good about their recent products.
Sgt_Dbag
BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed is a solid headset as well. But otherwise I agree.
O1_O1
Same. I’ve been using deathadder mouses since I was 14. I’m 25 now. I’ve only had to replace it once, but if I had opened it, I probably could’ve fixed it. It just wasn’t clicking properly anymore, but that was probably just dust build up
STB_LuisEnriq
I love my Razer Viper, still going strong

People are sleeping on the orbweaver. If you are excited at all about the concept of the new Metroid mouse aiming this is for you. Joystick movement, mouse aiming.

Corsair has me… I need to venture out.

My Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed has never and will never fail me

Kiyo Pro Ultra is nice
PhaseLegitimate6232
I switch from a razer mouse to a zowie and never looked back
The Razer Ornata keyboard I am a fan of though
Daemon013
Razer Viper was good but nothing beats Pulsar Xlite V3 for my big hand 😂
Accomplished_Ant5895
I have used their Naga Left-Handed edition since 2014 because of a disability I have that makes it hard to use the keyboard with my right hand. I even participated in their campaign to start manufacturing them again a couple years ago.

I have been using a Razer Mamba Tournament Edition for 10 years & it works perfectly
Envy661
I switched from Razer to Logitech and the only time I questioned that decision was when I couldn’t find a new G600 after my old one wore down from 10 years of use.
Razer will to me forever be… The “Gamerz” brand, where quality is sacrificed in favor of exploiting the ignorant, and the prices are jacked up. You know… The Apple approach.
Wolfie_Ecstasy
I went through 4 Deathadders over the course of 2 years that broke in completely different waysbefore I said NEVER AGAIN. Every other mouse I’ve bought has lasted me 4+ years and the only reason I got rid of my last FK2 was because the cat chewed up the cable lol
Razer keyboards were always silly to me because none of them that my friends had were able to be laid flat.
I love their goliathus mouse pad but unfortunately they need to be replaced every year or two, they don’t sell it anymore and all the ones on eBay are fakes at this point.
Trollyofficial
Why? One of the worst product lifespans. Doesn’t last more than 4-6 months of csgo, valorant, or league
FullAir4341
The only Razor product I’ve ever bought was a mouse pad
Low-Distance54
My biggesp problem is the synapse , it runs something other (i can’t recallit now) than the synapse and it takes up like 5-10% cpu/ram. I read about it, some people thinked it was a virus. But no its just razer.
My basilisk v1 is like 6 or 7 yrs old, after 3yrs some problems started with the right click (cancels out, or just dosen’t react to the click). Some time , some day it does it and some times not, in the last month it worked butter smooth. But bc of the synapes, i can’t wait to put my hands on a logitech mouse.
astra_hole
Idk, I have a Blackwidow keyboard from 2014 that’s still going but retired on the shelf by my desk.
But the headsets? Yeah, no bueno.
d_e_s_u_k_a
I’ve had a razer huntsman mini keyboard for 2 years and naga trinity for 6. I love them. Simple, reliable and functional, that’s all i ask really.
OmegaCircle
I loved my mamba, but now I only trust them to make mousemats
Mellen_hed
I’m all seriousness, I’m in need of a replacement keyboard and mouse. I’ve used Razer for years and haven’t really had a problem, but I’m starting to wonder if the grass isn’t greener elsewhere.
I do need an MMO mouse, but beyond that I’m open to any mechanical keyboard (it will be mainly used for gaming)
