I like my setup, but the whitespace between the desk and the shelves is pretty glaring

A VR headset would look pretty sweet.

On the left wall, nothing. You shouldn’t be obstructing the breaker panel. You can change the color if you want though.

On the left wall, I’d put something to hide your breaker panel. Like artwork or something like that.

A photo/poster would only compete with the monitor imo.

A trailing plant on the shelf (e.g., pothos, string-of-pearls) would add some texture to the open space or the same effect could be achieved by replacing the spider plant on your desk with one that grows upwards (e.g., snake plant, zz plant).

And/or you could paint that wall an accent colour if you find the white too stark. Or I spot some wooden panelling on your tv stand(?) in the mirror – something similar to that on the wall would add warmth.

Posters, art prints, maybe shelving or storage. I know some people like to put up fake plants as well.

3D wall tiles. They make any wall look better. And get some rechargable puck lights for a warm light ambiance and stick them under your shelf.

anime would look good with LED lights too
