Don’t jinx it!! You gave me flashbacks of putting my ps3 motherboard in the oven to re-solder the connections after I got the yellow light of death! It worked a few more days, long enough to back up all my saves and data to an external hard drive! Then it sadly passed on again. My second ps3 is still going strong, and I fire it up to play Metal Gear Revengeance occasionally.

If that one still has a 90nm RSX you are in for a treat. These are prone to failure like the rrod from the Xbox 360. On ps3 it’s the ylod (yellow light of death). I recomend tou using it untill it breaks and then get a 40nm RSX installed. It is expensive but its worth it

That’s the version I have, still working afaik haven’t had it on in years but I’m itching to go through my move stuff again after enjoying psvr.
They were hardy machines compared to the 360 that’s for sure.
