
Did a build with 9950x3d/x870e hero/6000 cl30 G-skill flare
However it requires 1.26 vsoc for expo to be stable, and it cant run mclk=uclk setting in bios. Is there something i should change or is it just bad ram/memory controller? Beware im a noob – any help is appreciated.

I also have 6000 CL30 1.35V My Asus B850I with VSOC at auto with EXPO set it at 1.25V I lowered it manually to 1.2V and still working no issues. Without EXPO was 1.06-1.09V, something around. 9800x3d
Try bumping cldo vddp to 1.05, vddg’s like .97 and .92 and set fclk mode = predictive. Mem vdd, vddq, vddio = 1.4. Maybe even disable expo and just type the expo settings manually.
Then try decreasing vsoc and set 1:1.
Maybe try running 8000 2:1, so you have lower uclk.

I asked in the AH Overclocking discord “is it 100% proven safe to use 1.26v for SOC?” and their answer was “It is proven that is not”
I then put it in Auto and my RAM tuning was still stable with default FCLK at 1.2v.
Try that, you don’t want to degrade your IMC long term.

Anything up to the 1.3V limit is considered safe for VSOC
quite high soc for 6000mhz in my opinion, i was running 1,13V for 6000, for 6200 i had to bump it to 1,23V – didn’t test 6400 because I settled on 8000mhz which is running 2:1 mode so vsoc can be low – with my 9800x3d i can run 8000 cl34 with 1,03v soc
I think it’s just silicon lottery. I had one chip that could do 6000 @ 1.05v, one at 1.12v and one at 1.165v.
