    I gotta say that the corpos don’t inspire confidence in general, but gosh darn are their aesthetic sick as hell, if we get the 5th corporate war in Orion we could get some really awesome armours

    They are, among many other things, a security company. So looking dangerous/ominous serves a purpose.

    Arasaka has easily the best colourscheme/aesthetic guidelines of them all. Other than being a zaibatsu manufacturing everything for japan their primary business is military hardware, colours entirely appropriate and Arasaka media/music keeping the scheme is still longterm a better solution than faceless forgettable behavioural science lab designs.
