Then Nvidia would be a derailed tram?

I think that AMD is absolutely killing it in regard to the CPU and consumer GPU game for sure. Nvidia has obviously proven that their main focus is on the commercial market and they limit a small percentage of stock to consumers. AMD doesn’t produce high end graphics cards that are going to be used in commercial AI servers and shit so naturally they are going to have more stock available. While I do think that they’ll eventually reach that level, this is Reddit so naturally most people posting here want the best of the best which is why you see more Nvidia cards.

The AMD circle jerk here never gets old.
Unless you live near a Microcenter, you are not going to a 9070 xt at MSRP..

  4. Lamborghini4616

Neither is true tbh. 250 over MSRP for a 9070xt is not a good price

Buying any 40/50 series card makes you a moron, that is a fact. especially when Radeon has better options in both current and last generations.

It’s kinda insane how 9070xt is only doing so well because of how bad GPU market has become. A few generations back if u were to price a mid tier card at 549 it will be ok at best, but now 549 for mid range is deemed very good deal

if you want at best a mid range product, sure. On the CPU side they are admittedly doing very well, but I don’t see why you compare them with Nvidia there because they don’t really make CPUs. On the GPU side the 9070 and 9070 XT are very compelling mid range products, but if you want great value go for something like the B580 which offers a very good card for the price. Nvidia obviously has the 5080 and 5090 which are far superior though also obviously more expensive than the 9070 and 9070 XT. The 5070 is a dud, but the 5070 TI is actually quite a good card but just has the unfortunate scalping issue, but if it was actually available for MSRP it would certainly be a reasonable competitor to the 9070 XT, even if it is higher in price it does offer marginally better performance and a number of exclusive Nvidia features which might be worth the $150 price difference.

This is a lot of why Intel Arc is doing as well as it is.

all things considered i guess but the market is so messed up now that nothing is genuinely a good price for what youre getting. 9070xt is priced too high for what you get (nobody is getting it at retail) and nvidia is only winning performance because amd hasnt released anything in the higher end. at least last gen we had the 7900xtx to compete with the 4080. in reality the 50 series is essentially just a more expensive 40 series. it may as well have been a firmware update or whatever

also if this was accurate to nvidia the trolley would be on fire
