Is there a chance the account was immediately hacked and used for something against their TOS?
That or maybe the email is phishing?

Did you create an account and then claim a crapload of keys all at once? maybe some algo flagged it.
They did something similar with my dead space 2. They said it was no long active. Customer service activated it after I complained .
Its EA though, they dont need a good reason…
I’d reach out to their support. best outcome, they figure out the issue or they give some more insight on the ban. e.ea.com is a domain they use, but always be on the lookout for phishing links and address spoofing.
Yeah somethings fucky with their accounts lately. My friend made an account to play it takes two with me and they immediately banned her before we could even start playing. It took a few days for them to reinstate it.
Definitely reach out to EA support about this. Sounds like some kind of automated ban.
EA Games, challenge everything.
My account was hacked and when I got it back the only game I had purchased was gone, the command and conquer ultimate edition, all 17 games. I only had it for a week before my account was stolen. When I logged a ticket to get it back I was told they no longer sold the game and couldn’t return it and then I was told it was an old game and they would give me kingdom of amular 2 instead. This was about 8 years ago. Haven’t purchased an EA title since.
I’m still salty about it and hate digital only games because of it, I want my fucking command and conquer ultimate edition back.

this is why i refuse to ever play a EA game.
Games have literally disappeared from my EA account like Dragon Age Origins Ultimate edition.
I no longer buy anything from them, they delete games from your account without saying anything.
Anytime they include origin games on humble choice I’ll immediately skip that month. No game is worth downloading another launcher.
