For G2s sake and or the competitive scenes sake, I really hope this doesn’t age like milk!

Selling NiKo and m0NESY at their peak values are not bad business at all. Now they have money, and really need to get the right replacement.

Love that he just randomly throws out “trust the process”. Like, what process are we talking about here? What process led to 4 IGLs, 4 head coaches in 3 years? Is there even any process at all?

  4. People are acting like G2 made the worst deal in the world. Let’s think about it, what have they won since cs2 came out ? A blast and an IEM dallas with stewie ? Is that really enough considering the value of these players ? I don’t think selling these players for a huge amount is as bad as people make it out to be

  5. But weren’t they like 95% done with building Rome until they just decided they want money over a top tier roster?

Rome wasn’t built in a day, but it didn’t fall that quickly either, whereas G2 endured 5 years of a trophy drought only to stab themselves less than a year later

They’ve been tearing down and rebuilding this Rome for quite a while now

Rome isn’t built in a day, but it surely has fallen in one day

No one expects him to resign unless crazy. G2 got 2 massive shots, losing Niko and Monesy and they still got to the final of “lower tier 1” tournament, we can’t forget a few top brands did not take part. But they are not doing bad, they are the 4th team in the world, you don’t get to such place by accident. And Malbs and Heavygod pretty much played scared and intimidated and they still made it to the final. It takes a good work with a psychologist to sort it out and they’ll shine for sure. Malbs played crazy good when he was an underdog, when people looked at Niko and Monesy. Now he’s just overwhelmed. Nothing that cannot be solved, no shame in that, whatsoever. Any team would have issues when 2 big stars were leaving. Imho the new chapter is promising, because G2 does not really need any more big stars, only a good awper who may or may not be a big star, he just must be a consistent awper. I’ll be surprised if Hades takes the spot for good, but you never know. One is clear, when transfers window stars, many players will want at least to talk to G2 and they will have money from Niko and Money sell to get a big awper, if they still need to. My only hope is they won’t make a stupid mistake to rebuilt the team completely, because it’s the last thing they need to succeed.
