Nacht der untoten, it’s quite literally a nightmare after you complete waw campaign

Buried , the western haunted town vibes .
Terminus , you are trapped in an Island and the atmosphere is top notch.
Mauer Der Toten , Cold War Berlin strong horror and apocalyptic vibes.
Zombies in spaceland , something about it all the space and goofy stuff is so cool honestly.

Liberty falls is the most played map in a while and I like it for its feel

Honestly? The Giant for me.
The cold blue colouring and the snow honestly adds alot to the map for me and makes it way better. I can’t explain why, but when I think about Der Riese, the cold blue lighting of The Giant always comes to mind first.

Origins because of the WW1 setting

Die rise, zatsu, mob, or buried.

Personally love Mauer and Forsaken. I know it’s recycled, but I love the idea of a model town used for combat training in a secret Soviet facility that gets attacked by dark aether zombies

The Giant has an underrated atmosphere

Either Verruckt or Mob of the Dead. Both are dripping in atmosphere and ambience and are some of the best maps in terms of fitting a horror setting. Even conceptually they are just next level. An insane asylum used as a research facility by the nazis to torture and experiment on the patients/inmates. Alcatraz, possibly the most well known and infamous prison in the world, ripped from it’s proper place and placed into a hellish pocket dimension where the crew are fated to die over and over and be tormented by the warden of the prison for eternity. Masterpieces.

Terminus. Islands, palm trees, rain, moon, calamari, boats and hoes, boat race, emergency noises
