Early version of Padre looks good, but I feel that the version they went with works better for his character.
You look at concept art Padre, you see people being intimidated by him, you go, “Yeah, that makes sense. He’s probably broken a lot of knees and other assorted bones in his time.”
The Padre they went with makes you wonder. He looks like a relatively unassuming old man. You could easily see him at the pulpit without any questions popping up in your head. And yet he terrifies people and is perfectly content to just hang out at a basketball court in the open because nobody is going to fuck with him.
And some of his quotes just go harder when he’s just an old man.
