My all time favorite game cinematic to date. I seem to find myself rewatching it once a year or so and it gets my blood pumping every time.
Everything from the animations to the sound design. The level of thought put into the game mechanics playing out in real time. Blizzard at their peak.
Just wanted to share with others.

I’ve been balls deep in StarCraft for the last month. I’m at the beginning of LotV and I don’t want it to end! I pray we get SC3 some day…
Amazing cinematic alongside the Reclamation one.
I haven’t really kept up with Blizzard’s most recent stuff so I can’t say if it’s still the case but well after the quality of their games started slipping, their cinematic department remained solid for a really long time. It’s still a shame we didn’t get something more long form for Overwatch than those shorts.
Though peak Blizzard in my opinion was late 90s/early 00s. It’s like they were physically incapable of making anything but masterpieces(even if some of their licensed ports didn’t turn out very well).
How far can a studio fall from greatness.

Blizzard will never be this good again. If Starcraft 3 ever comes out it will have a ridiculously overpriced cash shop and wacky crossovers that completely kill the vibe

Diablo 4 had some incredible story videos, but not for an intro to the game.
