In OP’s defense the name of the community doesn’t say call of duty WWII. But to answer your question I don’t know Japanese. But these are called yosegaki hinomaru. Basically a good luck flag. Japanese soldiers would have friends and family sign their names or write messages on these flags before they were shipped off to war. I believe there’s a site where you can find out what family it belongs to and have it shipped back if you’re the current owner of this flag. If not it’s still a pretty cool piece of history to own.
