    Bold assumption on GTA6

They milked the same damn game across three gens successfully. New cow, same deal.

Does that mean 2 new genre defining games like Melee and PSO1 were?

I like the phrase it did not had the new GTA

  4. Expensive physical media? Nah, GameCube optical discs were super cheap compared to the N64 cartridges.

Should not hold the lamp to run in front of a car.

  6. I don’t know if it’s going to sell less than Switch 1, or at least significantly less.

GC was massacred by the PS2. It’s unlikely Sony’s next console will be as successful.

I don’t think any mobile system is made with power as a first priority. Unless you want a battery life of thirty minutes and thermal throttling.

    Don’t forget: Pokemon Colosseum

Kinda. Some people are going as far as predicting the Switch 2 will fail like the Wii-U, but I think the Switch 2 will fluke like the GameCube. Failures and flukes are on different tiers in my pov, but anyway, as long as Nintendo gets screwed/burned, that’s fine by me, happened multiple times and they never learn their lesson

Key difference: Switch 2 does not have an expandable dock that accepts GBA cartridges.

**Plays Final Fantasy Tactics Advance like a boss**

The switch 2 not having GTA 6 /GTA online sequel, is an interesting move. From a business standpoint it appears to be a bit of a gamble until you take a deeper dive.

GTA 6/GTA online will basically be a MMO similar to WoW, so it will be one game that will never end which means after the initial hype of the release the need to carry GTA will plummet. So Nintendo skipping out on GTA will seem like a bad move initially but overall it’s not that big of a deal seeing that the GTA player base will plummet after the initial release.

Nintendo will continue to have its exclusives that will generate income and drive fans to their platform and make them buy the switch 2 eventually, especially once they sunset the original switch.

Breath of the Wild was originally made for the Wii U with the idea of navigating menus with a second pad.

Now the Switch 2 version will have an app for navigating menus with your smatphone.

    It really went full circle.

That new metroid prime is a good sales pitch tho..

Are those GameCube games also 80 bucks?

    > Tony Hawk 3+4

    > Tony Hawk 3 and 4

Literally unreadable (/s before someone tells me to touch grass)

Exactly how was the switch 2 made with power in mind? It’s still the worst of the current consoles…
