I needed some joy from my new build as it's just sitting gathering dust ATM.

I wish I had Corsair fans so I could ditch the ARGB hub entirely so it's neater but that will come after i finally secure a 5090.

Grabbed the Corsair commander XT for the thermistors for each end of the 12-2×6 cable and had a tidy to encourage airflow to the rear of the PSU.

It's going to be a long two months till I can grab one but at least I had fun I suppose.

You manage cables better than I can manage my life apparently

your cable management is stupidly good, I don’t think I’d gaf enough about the back to do this

I didnt have much luck with corsair fans and i think i vaguely remember there were corsair commander xt’s catching fire, i prefer bequiet / noctua fans, otherwise great cable management! Corsair makes best looking cases imo. Too bad 7000d airflow costs over 350eur around here…

Same – begged to Gigabyte for one Aorus Master 5090 “I love holo LEDs blades” and them like ehhh – buy from Amazon or Newegg where there’s no stock and buy yes I learned one thing, all stock goes straight to scalpers where nvidia and 3rd party sellers making grey market benefit. After tariffs I don’t think I’ll ever able to get any so imma skip this gen I believe. Fk all this shit. Feels PCMR is no more for me. YouTubers, tiktokers etc them get while sitting and home meanwhile real fans like me suck D

Y’all don’t just shove cables behind the back cover? Crazy

This is my weakest part of pc building

Neat! So glad I switched to the Corsair Link system less cables I used to run 10 QL120 RGBs for years since 2021 then upgraded to the newer Link system it’s so much cleaner managing their cables.

So get creative buy any thats in stock and trade someone or buy the AM off FB and then sell the card you got for roughly the same amount so you don’t lose money

Great cable management. I wish mine was nearly as good.

Just remember, the more cables you tie up and route, the more you have to untie and reroute if and when you have to replace or repair something. I try to find a balance.

Wow, awesome job. My intent was to make mine as nice as yours is. After 15 mins I went straight to “fuck it, it’s behind a panel. No one will know.”

Way, way better than I can manage.

I always go into my builds with the best intentions to actually do a good job of cable management, but then my ADHD tells me to give up and just play some games instead.

I hear ya. Ive had a beefy PSU on a shelf, some ram and a looming upgrade to win11 on stand by since the end of last year. I bought a case last week as the parts im replacing are going to my son who will be getting his first PC as soon as i get my new gpu – pity i told him about it in feburary, i knew it would take a while but this wait has been insane!

Now its getting really close to my 5090, should be the next shipment of the card i have ordered: I installed the ram and fiddled with the timings, I installed win11 finally, swapped cases to my new Antec C8 (which was a dream to build in, highly reccomend amazing value to boot!) and I installed the beefy PSU.

Now i see your cable management… and… I feel i need to tidy things up a bit behind the back panel of doom. Slight pang of shame on me lol, nice job!

looks great managed better than my life

This is so sexy. I need to learn this discipline

  16. mrestiaux

Wild that people are excited and literally doing everything they can to get their hands on a stupidly over priced GPU. Ridiculous.

  17. No old card to put in? Are you not using a PC currently at all?

  18. mysticalpickle1

Am I looking at that power supply right? Surely the fan isn’t pointed towards the side panel?

  19. are you waiting for cheaper prices or what?

  20. You’ve probably got room for some fire suppression pipework in their now
