I recently did the hola buddy spin, and i got one of the pets, but i cant find it in the companion part of the game. Im confused? Did i not really get it? Or is there a different way to redeem it? ( first time getting a buddy)

Sounds like you got one of the dog buddy “skins” you have to have the actual plain dog buddy too before you can use it with the skin.
See the white plain wolf on the top right. You need to get one of those first before you can use the black flame wolf as your companion.
U need to build a dog house to find it.
