EVGA P2 1200w wouldn't normally shut off from this with a 300w cpu but upgrading to a x299 where it can peak 500w during UE4 tipped it over the edge. If anything i am pretty impressed it's 10+ years old

also remember when you could pull 750w+ from 3 cables and not melt things? hardware has really regressed
