I know the internet is dunking on Nintendo right now but I just hope that carries over to sales. Nintendo is absolutely not going to alter the pricing unless it affects their sales. They’re definitely going to ride this out to see if they can get away with it. Sadly, they probably will.

I know for a fact the microsoft/Xbox rep actually had that pompous tone too. A real piece of shit.
He went on later to exclaim that the Xbox Ones Kinect camera was absolutely necessary as it was a key part of the console, and that wasn’t true in the slightest and only added $100 to the cost to an overpriced and under-performing console.
Not personally a fan of the pricing or Nintendo as a business but this article feels like it’s rage baiting for engagement sake.

I feel like people really want this to he an Xbox One moment for Nintendo, but honestly I don’t see the comparison.
The Xbox situation was “oh you don’t have internet sucks to be you” and Nintendo is more “oh you can’t afford a Switch 2, don’t worry we are still supporting the current Switch which is still a great system”

I think the real problem is the environment it’s being released into. People have been fucked with jacked up prices pretty much since the start of COVID. We’re tired boss. People are tired of shit being overpriced to fill some C-Suites gold lined pockets with more money. 🤷♂️
