Just picked up this up off fb marketplace for $450 after I found it for my girlfriend. Finished testing it and I'm so jealous… it's basically the same as mine that I built 5 years ago for $1,100, except has a better gpu. Oh well, now she's got a kick-ass machine for us to play together with!

Don’t feel bad, in five years someone’s gonna buy a 4090 machine for a fraction of what the original builder spent. That’s just how this works and remember, comparison is the thief of joy.
I bought a 5700G for $300 during covid because GPU prices were out of control and I still feel bad about it sometimes considering it was the same price as a 5800X but the 5800X is like 30% faster in most games, and then I ended up replacing it with a 5800X3D I bought on black friday like 2 years later.

lol, during the height of the pandemic/bitcoin mining i bought a similar system (it was already two generations old by then). Still have it! It got me through Cyberpunk (with many, many, many effects turned off).
nobody really talks about the 2070 but it is an goated card
