So many great memories with Scarface man. They don’t make games like this anymore

I had a blast playing The Godfather. I really hope they remaster it. I still remember how tough that mission was—driving Vito Corleone to the hospital after he got shot at the market

I remember the scarface game lol. I loved the premise of it. I also remember the godfather game but barely. Think you had to take over neighbourhoods one by one or something.

The Godfather game had the best use of sixaxis on ps3, you actually feel like you’re slamming a shopkeepers head on a table, and then push him against the wall and choke him all with sixaxis.

The PS2/Xbox/Gamecube generation was hands-down the craziest. It felt like there were several new games coming out each week. Including some of the strangest, zaniest games you never thought you’d want to play, but somehow wound up playing. Oh, and it was common for movie studios to create entire video games simply to serve as tie-ins for new movies and even old ones, some of which weren’t half bad.

The Godfather was a good, open-world, game.

There was actually a second Godfather game as well.

Biggest issue I had with The Godfather is you had no real agency as a character as you just basically sat in the background while everything else played out.

I own both of these and will be handing them down to my son. Based on current prices, he can sell them for about $70 each when he is 40. Generational wealth.

I have a Ps2 just chillin off to the side and the only game I have for it is scarface because I got both from a friend that was just getting rid of them. If anyone wants them lmk. No charge, happy to send them to a better home 😀
