I played casual yesterday on a server from US Virginia at 125 ping. There were 6 of us from which one an obvious cheater on the enemy team. They kicked him, we finished the match and then almost everyone left besides 1 guy. I spent almost 2 hrs just playing against him with 4 bots and no one procedeed to join the entire time. That being said we have a similar scenario of cs 1.6 where mainly Eastern European players from slavic countries are keeping this game alive otherwise it would've been dead a long time ago. And because it's free we all know that cheaters are a healthy portion of that player count.
The worst thing is that subtick imo. We keep getting backtracked and killed even if we're behind a wall, even worse I don't even know why they added damage prediction since it's getting rolled back anyways. Classic clip of simple hitting a hs on anubis but guess what the body just gets up and fking revives after getting killed lol. I think if we get back the feeling of cs:go like movement, spray patterns and classic gamemode stuffs the game would be amazing
activites are bugged 9/10 for all my friends in the main menu UI, I always need to use steam overlay to access chat&friends anyone facing same issue? Device:- Legion pro 7i
The current state is not great, the added delay to the game which CS:GO didn't have is just outright annoying at this point, how can they not see it themselves?
I left CS behind as I genuinely don't like the state of CS2 in several ways. I ended up playing Deadlock and I freaking LOVED it. The amount of Updates that GAME (which is in play testing alpha (!!!)) gets compared to CS2 is ASTONISHING. Bugs are sometimes fixed within minutes, balancing updates rather frequently (about 2 a month. Prior to that circle sometimes daily). Actual huge gameplay changes are made with updates. A few days ago they completely changed the map and economy (which sadly I absolutely hate and stopped playing due to it). Just being in the deadlock bubble made me realize how stagnant, slow, and outright pathetic the dev progress on CS2 has become.
people who whine about the state of the game clearly didnt play csgo since its release… it took csgo 5 years to become a good game. in 2012-2017 the game was wayyy worse than what we have today. the only real issues are the nonexisting anticheat and the shitty "pool" system of mm, as somebody with lvl10 faceit i get reported alot on premier and end up getting put in rage HvH lobbies lol
This update apparently capped the amount of XP you could normally earn with a "[x] per minute" cap that you cant go over. Might be worth mentioning once the community works out what the XP changes actually were made!!
This becomes a more and more depressing storyline. Cheaters enjoying the game and valve fixes geometry on inferno… At this point Youtubers need to pressure Valve more to release some kind of roadmap for VAC!
With the state CS2 is in right now, its fair to say that Valve does not have that much to update anyways. The Game is perfect as it is and even 99.9% of the polishing is done. No updates needed.

Many (too many) cheaters, I mean, obvious aimbot with SSG.
Some peoples have shutter lag, we don't know why, I have many accounts, and it not happen with every one (same config)
Rank system is broken.
Subticks isn't better than 64ticks.
Make EAST country servers to avoid language issue (+ they are so toxic)
