CS2 is changing. Just weeks into the new year and we have finally got to witness some highly anticipated debuts.
A brand new tournament format. A brand new Train, back in the competitive pool. A number of first looks for the star players on their new teams, and finally– for the first time in history– a female roster playing in a tier 1 event against the number 1 team in the world.
Welcome to 2025.

If you hate Imp-FE you don't want to see the scene prosper, that's all it is.
If the sentiment is that they didn't earn there place due to only playing against female teams, simply let them play against male teams and male dominant tournaments all the time prior to these events? Based on there performance against NaVi I think many people would be surprised!
lot of hackers even in prime , still shit game
Honestly that game was one of the most exciting and interesting games to watch in a very long time
just treat women team as normal as other team, they climb the ladder as others, they are well deserved to play in top tier if their ranking is qualified for it. They are no difference compare to other teams. I dun get what is the sudden hype for, it is great to have a new team at the top of the table, however we always have new dark horse every year, eg TheMongolz last year. What are the difference between them ?
however we should consider when do we merge the ladder together, as for sure for current moment their org size and support is much less than male team. Hope this can showcase the potential of female player and encourage more investment. Then we can have one ladder regardless the gender like now, which can cause arguement of legitimate of the points they earn from female only tournement.
cs2 sucks
idk why so impressed. It's a videogame. Men don't have the physical advantage they have in sports. Ofc, the cultural barriers are still huge (has anyone noticed the lack of black CS players, for example?) and maybe men still have an edge, as in men seem to have a slightly better response time on average. But it sure as hell is not enough to make it unfeasible for women to compete in top tier gaming. Someday we'll see mixed teams, not as a gimmick, but because they're better like that.
This noobs hating on Female roster are pathetic, they deserve to be there and its exciting to see change on the CS scene bec. its kinda boring tbh.
Valve Ranking system is Like putting a very very talented painter against a Math Champion in a Math Competition and my friends thats how Imperial FE got invited
Do people really believe imperial FE can win they are meant to perform as usually they aren't NOOB but thinking if you thinking 🤔 they Stand a chance in TOP 15 you dreaming no hate 😅😅😅😅😅😅
I dont get why CS leagues are seperated by gender at all. It's not like a sport where there is a physical difference. The whole seperation is sexist by itself, why put women in their own bubble and rob them of their agency and opportunity to scrim against male teams. Yet i don't think anyone forced them to play in women leagues instead of starting to play in any other league. So i guess there is a bit of truth in it when you say they profited off the female leagues in world ranking terms.
I think Imperial FE would`ve been capable of winning if they played some of the lower teams and not Na`Vi
Imperial Put a girl on
Imperial FE have beat all their peers and got a well-deserved place at the top. If you're not the best among your peers sit tf down, you don't have a fraction of discipline and spirit they have.
NAVI probably never studied Imperial FE too much
hence why it's CLOSE
people always forget that TOP teams study top TEAMS and they just leave out the bottom teams
HENCE why upsets happen
I love bloodmoney
Supporting female teams is nice and all but we mustn't forget that at the moment the game is unplayable for non pro audiences without services such as Faceit, which don't protect you from the shit ton of bugs that the game is still plagued with.
I am happy if more girls can take part in the scene but a lot of people will simply stop following the game if everything inside the game makes them want to quit playing it.
Don't let this (very good) initiative deter you from the fact that Valve still don't give a shit about the state of the game.
If they qualify I dobt see the big deal
Listen we all remember team siren and this other league team from Russia.
There is no conspiracy regarding Imperial Female. If they're trash and don't deserve their placing, they'll just get shit in in their games.
Though it looks like they're pretty good.
That knife-try from w0nderful. Disrespect much xD Good thing zAAz f-ed him up
