To add context, i dont mind run and shooting games but i have been in more favour of more tactical and slower pased games for while now. Games like titanfall and call of duty is fun but i dont feel like theres the satisfactory side getting a kill or enjoying the game long term. Reason why i always go back to games like rainbow six siege since 2016 is due to it requiring more brain , time and planning meaning when you get a kill its so much more satisfying. I felt this way when first warzone came out in 2020, however with meta changes and how Activision managed it has turned it into a sweat fest of running, jumping and sliding while making battleroyale mode feeling like a bigger team deathmatch vibes. I have overall moved away from this type of gameplay and i dont find it as satisfying as i get the satisfaction from games like insurgency, arma , hunt showdown, rainbow six siege etc.
Fps in genreal is amazing and fun but im done or rearly want to play headless chicken simulators. How do you feel ? Do you agree ? If you do or don't do comment it out because im curious how others think.
