  1. lowkey love it and hate it at the same time, maybe if they introduced an option to toggle on crazy ragdolls or something it could make the game a little bit more enjoyable

  2. Could it be that this is just part of their marketing stragegy? I think this was done on purpose. Similarly to other big companies who do intentional flaws to products in order to spread the word.

  3. I honestly dont get it people are crying over ragdolls. The game has something FUN for once. We have gotten some absolutely hilarious clips.

  4. Ragdolls have a negative impact on competitive as you can't figure out where from your teammate was shot.

    Also, the game lags when that happens.

  5. People are mad it's not fixed yet, even though everyone is enjoying the fun. Played a game yesterday, and besides the rag dolls going on a moon mission, the game felt great.

  6. Dont know if you guys notice, But sound and bullets hit is also not correct. Only noticed on mirage. You totaly not know where you get hit from.

  8. I think the bots work differently since I’ve had damage prediction on since it came out and I’ve been seeing these ragdolls in ranked. Well maybe not as strong but still there.

  9. I was playing Faceit and it said my networks had problem and then downloaded the update and this thing happened,Damn I thought it was abt faceit servers and go a long with it thinking It would fix itself,well F**k,nice to know it was abt Cs2 severs

  12. How could you have not watched 3klik's video?
    He showed the nades interaction with ragdolls. That was a bug they fixed in this patch.
    But definitely introduced a new one to replace it lol

  13. vale know what they doing. theres not major tournaments up right now. put a goofy update in the game. let people have fun and people still stay addicted to the game. then patch it in a month and be like "lol that was fun for a bit"

  14. I never expected myself to be on the edge of quitting the game fr and sell all of my inventory just because of that animation delay, i guess skins were the only things for me to cope with the trash state of the game..

If all these slight changes can break so much stuff in the networking sub-tick arena, seemingly due to with the threshold of sub-ticks being sent with which packet etc. this all creates two separate experiences of the game client side and server side. SO MUCH HEAVY LIFTING DONE BY DAMAGE PREDICT. Subtick seems to be the answer but thats as long as everyone is playing with similair-ish pings. I have had to navigate so many nudges this way or that way for sub-tick so far that when i see a 3 stack with 100+ ping in my game I just about leave. I can not do a network packet level investigation after every update to try to check if I can play more or less aggressive into these players since they get the biggest client side interp buff.

    ^ ALL THAT IS TO SAY IF THEY ARE REALLY ALL GUNG HO WITH SUBTICK PLEASE PING LOCK LOBBIES TO SO THERE ISNT 6 players sub 45 ping and a person that wanted to play in a dif region for whatever reason with 110+ ping. Sure I could just be better as the devs typically say but my god they tell us the subtick system is imperceptible then but not when its playing outside its own scope. I swear the devs only ever test on internal LAN.

  17. Imagine making a core mechanic like damage predictions an optional setting to cover up your broken sub-tick system.
