I can't help but sometimes lament that it's Counter Strike that valve decided to use as the testing ground for a source 2 FPS. with it being such an optimised competitive game a lot of the fun stuff like ragdolls, or fancy water effects have to get peared back in the name of performance and readability. I feel like they could get away with a lot more in a casual shooter more akin to TF2 or Halo

  2. How do you actually get them to stay? Like for me (I’m on max settings) the bodies just like disappear for me and always have.

    How annoying about the roof,..strong winds yesterday here in Sweden aswell. Glad my roof is till there.

  4. The wing man map that starts with a p on T side stair case to roof you have been able to throw guns bomb etc trough the stair case, obviously no one cares cuz no ones mentioned it

  5. the whole momentum based launching of ragdolls also happens in left 4 dead 1, most noticable when killing a smoker with a sniper, they may sometimes go flying!!

  6. I wouldn’t mind a mild buff to how far the rag dolls move, but this is just silly! I also like the idea others have suggested of letting it be a server option or part of a different game mode

  7. On a smaller note, they also broke the inspect animations, which are now hard locked until the weapon spawn animation is fully completed. It feels so broken compared to the past decade of smooth and instant transitions between animation states.

  8. like we loled with friends this update added 'double front flip' when killed. Funny, but annoing sometimes because its hard to tell where u died from. Weird, that it was a 'fix' thou.

  9. Phillip would have been an excellent programmer or game developer had he chose to. Immediately identified a half life game development documentation that related to the situation. Now that's called efficiency.

  10. Valve devs literally changed the code, compiled and pushed the update, not a single person in the office thought to maybe test their changes. Really says a lot about Valve's development process. Inb4 Valve created RCE exploit

  11. i quit cs , since cs2 its a shit game cs1.6 css and then csgo but not when it was new was good

  12. Idk how ppl are having fun with this. Yea it is fun to see the enemies launch to space after getting a kill with awp to the face but in ranked killing someone and seeing them fly away is so distracting and I died several times because of it. Valve pls fix (immediately)

  13. they should just bring back the 1.6 death animations and have them convert into ragdolls after the animations end like in csco
