Never was a big fan of FPS games…guess the arcade game Operation Wolf,and the first Metroid Prime are my only favorites.
My all time favorite and still in my top 3 all around games is still Borderlands 2. I did also spend my entire college year on Halo 2
My first reaction was "Yeah, this is gonna have Halo all over the place isn't it? You really gotta play more FPS's"
I did however love seeing Doom at the top of the list, it's one my fave story-lite action games, and I especially appreciate you telling me the backstory, I didn't know all of that, thanks for telling me about it. Sure wish that you had more to actually say about anything else on the list.

007, while not the best FPS, is still my favorite for all the memories it provided. Halo: Reach is still the best Halo for me, too.
You gotta play “Black”. A difficult FPS but worth a one play.

Nice list… I do am sorry as for the life of me have only played Doom and Wolfenstein on this list (never had an Xbox, but Halo is also recommended to me by my bestfriend)… Hope I can play the games on this list in the future. Thanks again!

Ahhh doom such great memories. Back in my freshman year of highschool, in one of my computer classes if we finish early are teacher would let us play doom. The thing is he wouldn't tell us how to log into it. Now this was on DOS and we had to log in teacher, then had to log in as a student then had to log into doom the game and then the death battles would begin. 😂 29 years later i still remember how. Great list bro. It you get around to it maybe do s stream of doom or duke nukem. Both are my favorite FPS. Ttyl peace!

If you loved Doom, then you'll love Doom 2.
