This match is the reason why valve just decided to change the rules mid-tournament, so the top ranked teams make it to the legend's stage, no matter what their score is (assuming they don't get eliminated here). Had g2 won this match, g2 and spirit (2 of the top 5 teams in the world) wouldn't have been put in a situation where they'd have to face each other for a spot in the elimination stage with the losing team having to go through the opening stage. Valve didn't want that to happen, so that's when they decided to intervene and made Perfect World change the rules mid-tournament.

When G2 was up 5-0 in Anubis, 3DMax won their first round as 5-1. Then the video flash forwards to 6-1, a gun round is skipped where G2 won. Why are you skipping gun rounds? It happens all the time.
