The Overkill paired with the Grenadier perk for double explosive radius, Demolition Expert for 60% extra explosive dammage, and Better Criticals perk for double critical damage, all paired with doing the double shot glitch allows you to fire 4 critical gaurenteed to hit mini-nukes that deal a total of 285% dammage each.. Roughly the equivalent of firing 12 regular mininukes at once.
Pretty much the only creatures in game you can't 1 shot with this combo are the bosses, and that's only because they have extreme explosive resistances.
Just don't put the merv on, it drastically lowers the overall dammage output and range and only marginally increases the explosive radius.
… Also.. It is so freaking satasfying to use this combo on a scorchbeast because you just get to watch 4 mininukes chase it around the sky like a flight of heat seeking missiles homing in on their target before it is just vaporized midair.
I'm not sure about the best but i can tell without a doubt the Fallout 3 MIRV is the worst one, literally every time you shoot it, unless it's looking straight up, at least one nuke always lands at your feet
You can get an automatic fat man from pickpocketing Fahrenheit after you pick pocket her minigun before the big dig mission then pick pocket her again for the auto fat man after Bobby no nose is dead.
But idk if it was a mod or not so I might need to re run the game and do that part again to see if it was or not in a clean game

super annoying doing public events with mirv'ed out overkill wielding level 2000s, screen shaking and turning white every 2 seconds so you can't see or aim

Mirv was awesome in 3. But 4's double shot MIRV is just a suicide choice.

I'd say overkill because the level system giving it more damage and you can also instakill other people pretty easily unless they are just a tank
I think it’s a tie between Overkill (no such thing) and big boy.

I say esther. While not as overkill as the mirv variants it does have rhe advantage of lots of other ammo types that it can use

The only way to clear the Deathclaw sanctuary is with Estha! I mean why else would you keep so many Mini-Nukes
Honestly hate people that use it in FO76 but oh well.
Notice how they have mods for it to be a MIRV, pretty sure we know which is best 😂
