I did Male V for Streetkid because I figured the Bahston tough guy voice would be a good fit.
By the end, he won me over.

I believe both of them did an excellent job. The thing is most peopl play with female V.

This where I drew a strong connection with v his emotions really made me care for him .

I love male V’s voice acting. Especially this scene was very good. I think the voice fits the character very well.

I do prefer female V slightly, but I have hard time saying she did better work. Just a preference for me. If all we got was a male V, I’d have zero complaints. He killed it as well and I think in Phantom Liberty, he went up another notch. And yeah, super intense moments like this are so good.

Im in the minority that likes male V’s voice acting better tbh. Its not often I see men in fictional media have this kind of emotion and its so much better because of that.

Male V is my fav and I’ll sing his song every time

I started with a Femme V but my second playthrough as Masc V was my preferred one.

I like Male Vs panicked delivery more. Especially during the heist. But that’s just my opinion.

I played Male V, street kid first so all the lines just sound right in his voice now. I’ve done two female V playthroughs and it’s still weird hearing certain lines. She did a great job though and that’s totally just my own bias from playing the other version first.

Both are incredible. It’s like having two games in one to me. CDPRed’s DNA is incredible player-perspective characters (main example: Geralt) and even though V is supposed to be a player-insert, they couldn’t help but create a character you can really empathize with and grow to love. And there are *two* of them to experience in this game!
Male and Female V’s acting is different enough that each one feels like a unique perspective despite having basically the same lines. I love this game.

I dont actually think theres a majority that likes fem v’s voice acting better. Probably 50/50

People think that male corpo V’s voice does not fit and they could not be more wrong in my opinion. I don’t think that people understand that he has a rough and tumble Sacramento feel, and that is a very diverse accent. I have a friend at the last corporation I worked with that was able to switch as the same accent on and off at the drop of a hat.
I’ve spent a lot of time in the corporate world and you hear a lot of people that sound like him, My accent is similar actually. I think that people have this image of a corporation and everybody there speaking like big brains, but in reality it’s just normal people doing the work. They think they got the most right to me was the diversity and inclusion for those bits.
V is right for the company and especially for the role that he plays as counter intelligence. He is a tactical operative. Really excellent voice acting from beginning to end in my opinion, especially for somebody dealing with the range of emotions that they are going to through moment by moment.

Male V nails the vulnerability a bit better imo while female V makes the character seem more natural and kind of more naturally charismatic in social settings. I kind of have the issue with female V outside a few instances where she’s laying on the cool girl tone a bit too hard to make the more vulnerable moments not hit as hard for me personally but I can see how people can prefer that.

I like both, but when I tried fem V she kept going from quite to very loud for no reason. Not sure if mine was just bugged or her audio got mixed a bit differently.

I prefer playing as female V, but i thought both male and female voice actors were fantastic. Yes I have a preference but that’s not taking away anything from either actor.
Really the voice acting overall was on point for the game. I can’t really think of any that were outright bad.

They both did awesome. I don’t see why comparing two very different performances is necessary
