Don't know if this is an unpopular opinion or not. But I think Vanguard is a more aesthetically pleasing thematic over cold war. I understand the maps and game for the most part was extremely sub par. But the visual design is alot more, zombies than cold war.
Personally I think that Cold Wars visual and gameplay design is the worst we have ever had.

Looks don’t count for much when you’re earning 25 points for a zombie kill
Vanguard’s art direction was actually really good. Shame the game sucked
