This will help a gamer or someone who needs the cores for work. I do hope I get it to upgrade my wife (who has an semi-unstable PC (i7-4770K, 32 GB RAM, GTX 1080, locks up once to twice a day))

I don’t really need an upgrade beyond my graphics card, but if somehow I do win, I’ll pull the trigger on a CPU upgrade and give my current platform to my sister, who is stuck with a 14 year old Xeon X5650 system because she can’t afford more.
