Obviously he isn’t giving us a heads up about the coma, but still, V could have sent everyone a mass text or something. No wonder Night City is lonely, people don’t do the most basic shit.
Yeah, this still annoys me, and it’s been nearly a year, i think since I did the ending. Hated that so much and made some things about the ending feel too convenient.
I just did the Tower ending for the first time. The game does give you the option to message as far as I know Vik and (if you romanced someone) your partner. That said, it’d be nice if you had more than those options, like to other friends and maybe some of the fixers.
Yes, the message you can send, in my opinion, is very stupid. “Hey, I’m gonna go a couple of days, see ya soon.” Man, in the case of Vik and Panam, both are trying to help you find a cure, it’s stupid that V doesn’t tell them that they’re going to go through the process of the cure you found. I know that V is supposed to be “careful” with the info, but come on, those 2 are the ones V rely the most.
V tells them, V just doesn’t tell them the location since its secret. And well no one told V they’d be in a coma for two years.
V is not the best communicator. It always irked me when you go to Jackie’s ofrenda and Mama Welles asks V how they’ve been, the only options are not great, where V says things haven’t been easy, or hanging in there, whereupon Mama Welles chastises V for not getting in touch and coming over for dinner. I never could understand why V didn’t straight up say they’d been recuperating from a bullet to the head, even if they didn’t want to tell a grieving woman they were also dying.
I’m glad I killed him. I really am.
