About a few months ago I played for the first time what a lot of people call one of the OG classic horror games of all times. Silent Hill 2
Unfortunately as it was to be expected the game did not cause fear on me not because I’m some fearless motherf*** but because of course the horror formula has been upgraded over the years and this outdated Beauty just wasn’t enough anymore…
Now Silent Hill 2 Remake, it’s such a freak scary show now that I just can’t play it full volume.
I remember wishing to be fortunate enough to play that game at launch. Thank you for making it happen <3

Pointless remake
I always doubted it was going to be bad, but it’s nice to see people appreciating it rather than hating it. I never could play the original survival horror games because I despised the tank controls, so these remakes have been great for me!
Why don’t you just play the original? It’s like colourising black and white movies because modern audiences are used to it. Leave classics alone.

Curious, as I’ve always intended to play a SH game as the series typically receives a lot of praise, is there a ported version of the OG, hopefully for PC? I do want to play the remake, too, but I’ve heard there’s nods to the OG unless they aren’t big.

Gotta wait for it to go on a sale before picking it up. But from what I’ve seen, it looks really fun. Can’t wait to play it!
