why on earth? no. never. never share analytics under any circumstances. never opt in to allow a corporation to monitor your activities.

lmao looks like someone might have a bot set to downvote me. those two came literally the instant after i posted.

It just helps them determine say “how many V’s have died taking on the millitech spider” and stuff for bugs too.

And above we see the two dualing side of the internet in their natural habitat.

I don’t let anyone collect any data that I can stop them from taking.

Up to you. Do you want CDPR to see how you play the game so they can use the data to inform design for the next game? Remember, that means you’re giving CDPR permission to monitor your computer while you’re playing. I always say no to that stuff, but if you’re comfortable with a company peeking in on you, that’s for you to decide.

I always go “no”. You’d be amazed how far reaching companies data collection goes. For example when I had Facebook it was ungodly in the amount of spam email & phone calls I would get. Uninstaller it, did a clean, & installed Duckduckgo… not a single one now. Phone runs smoother than ever too.

Sounds like corpo invasion of privacy, typical corpos

I said yes and got death threats when I didn’t kill the father and son that sell you know what. I was doing an evil run damnit!

  9. thedeadthatyetlive

Idgaf, I never told my phone to listen in on my conversations but I keep getting ads for classic-era Scooby-Doo costumes and knotted dildos. You really think that’s a coincidence?

Game just started and OP is already asking for help

They keep a note of the penis size chosen.

I did because I bought the game on day one and expected some technical hiccups that would crash the game, so more bluescreen reports (played the Ps4 version) I submitted, the better as they’d know what to look for and how to address it.

  13. techno-wizardry

There’s no harm in it. Back when it was getting regular patches telemetry data and sending in crash reports with your save data were invaluable to the team according to some stories about it. I’m the type that turns this stuff off usually but I turned it on for this game.

  14. Brotoss-

People in this sub can’t do a single thing without asking for help. It’s truly pathetic.

You literally haven’t even started yet, my god!

  15. IrishTexanAngel

Yes is your only option because if you click no you can’t play the game until you hit yes

  16. Koflach12

Do you really want them to know how many times you’ve paid to visit the lady of the night in Chinatown?

  17. SunSetSwish

sharing my anonymous or gaming data never really affected my life in any way

  18. Never share your data willingly. Unless the party is willing to compensate for it.

  19. Gloomy-Fix4436

    hahahahah its the CIA phaaahahahahaha

  20. SirOakin

I said yes cause they have a functioning bug report tool that auto detects CTD.

Been very helpful in reporting bugs and a few months later watching the patch notes mention the fix.

  21. howitzer9091

I mean if you want? What kinda question is this choom?

  22. DanielTheDragonslaye

I always opt out of data collection if possible and obfuscate collected data if I can’t and deem that necassary.

But there is not really a reason to disagree here, the data they collect is probably useless for anything else but the game’s development or maybe some science project if it’s truly anonymous.

I don’t trust companies that the data they collect is truly anonymous and disagreed out of principle, but that’s really overly precautious.
