wonder how much dude got paid from CEX for it.

    on ebay sold around £2000

CEX either don’t know the value of a lot of items, or are banking on buyers not knowing (maybe both).

Second hand Steam Decks for more money than brand new higher spec models is my favourite example.

I don’t call them the thieves guild for nothing.

Knowing CEX, They prolly gave the seller £2.40 and half a bag of sweets.

Cex are the epitome of greed, I only sell to them when I feel like ripping them off.

Aren’t threadrippers not that great for the purpose of gaming in case that’s what OP is thinking of using it for?

Was literally in the same store earlier today honestly though I was going insane. Also they put it with the hard drives which they sell for like £10 each

Wow , it’s nice to see that not just rip off in my country I call them rip off In my country never have I ever found something in there that isn’t more cheap at another store although I do like how they still do PC games which is great as I can get some of the old PC games

People talking about CEX, I’ve never had an issue with their pricing lmao. Surely you guys are aware they are middle men, they have overheads and need to make profit from your hardware lol. Yes you will make a loss on some items but thats a given since it’s convenient & you don’t have to deal with private sales

It’s £2500 on their website, which is actually a reasonable price.

Idk about CEX, but that processor could be locked to a specific board right?

Used to browse CEX now and then for retro stuff but nothing is cheap anymore, now they want £100 for an original Game Boy.

Used Threadripper Pro processors can sometimes be vendor-locked, so they can only be used with one specific motherboard brand.
