    I was eyerolling and thinking it was overrated to biblical proportions. Then I played it (on Epic freebie no less). It was all true. Went to steam and bought it.

    What a unique, horrifying and outstanding game. 2 of the free games for PS this month as Doki Doki plus and the Dead Space remake which are both great games in their own right but it says a lot that out of the 2 of them Doki Doki is somehow the more unsettling of the 2.

    i remember playing this when i first started playing visual novels where someone recommended this and muv-luv to me on the vn subreddit . Muv-luv was one of the most surreal experiences with the whole genre shift but this one genuinely made me go “what the actual fuck” in a good way
