I couldn’t get to play cybperpunk due to it being 1st person. I get dizzy 🥲

I would want toggles of first and third person

Yes! I get headaches from first person games. Would love to have an option for a 3rd person view..
Silvanyx
No, first person view is the best and more immersive
terriblespellr
Nah 3rd person is inferior
Hoshiko-Yoshida
Not as much.
First person makes it immersive.
DandySlayer13
I would’ve enjoyed it more so than I already did! Styling your character would feel so much better when we could see it in action. Also I feel melee would just feel so much better in third person.
SpartAl412
It be cool of there was so we can appreciate how V dresses

It would be a different game. First-person gives you that immersive feel, where **you** are the protagonist and the story and experiences are yours. A third-person view makes it a story about another character, one that you happen to control.
It’d also be much harder to make Johnny really make sense in a third-person game.
The best illustration of the difference, and how “connected” a first person perspective makes you feel to the character is the Phantom Liberty ending where the final scenes do exactly that: They pull away from the first person perspective and you see V walk away into the crowd. It’s super jarring and suddenly V is no longer you, but just some person in Night City.
That said: I hope Orion has a third-person mode; gameplay wise, I much prefer it over first-person. I like to see the character I spent so much time customizing and (un)dressing do shit.
TacaFire
Yes, I think it would be nice. If it had a toggle between fp and tp even better.
If not, I would appreciate a game in cp world (like an arpg with CDPR quests and world design), gameplay would need to be tight though.
Dangerous-Spend3924
Nah I greatly prefer first person for these kind of games.
SuperNova0216
Yes, I wish we could toggle it. I’d keep it in first a lot ofc, but I’d love to see V.
TastyAsparagus5270
Personally, that would make it my favourite game ever.
maltinik
I would enjoy more if it was 3rd person. First person only gives a limited angle of sight while real time your view angle is wider. it doesn’t affect much while using firearms but when in melee it differs too much.
Kami_Slayer2
Probably more
xCrossFaith
Yes I would love if it was on third person, or at least the option to toggle it like in Fallout games
I also think third person would make it better for photo mode and take screenshots “naturally” instead of being stuck with premade poses, which the game has a ton of them which is awesome, but still 😛

If the third person camera was optional, I would certainly enjoy it. For example, in Starfield I constantly switch between first-person and third-person cameras. In some cases I want (and find it more convenient) to use one camera, in other cases another. The same thing in GTA5. In general, yes, I would like an optional third-person camera.
Sculpdozer
Brother, I would’ve enjoyed it thrice more
No_Tamanegi
Nope
Lonely_Brother3689
100%. A toggle, similar to Bethesda’s would be nice, but I would be all about the 3rd person if it was available.
Clever_Angel_PL
I definitely wouldn’t replay it as many times as I did
for the same reason I didn’t finish Witcher even twice
RingoFreakingStarr
I believe it being first person and FORCING that first person perspective is what made the game so immersive. There’s nothing wrong with 3rd person games (Just look at the Witcher series especially the 3rd one) but they do lack the special immersive sauce that games like Skyrim and CP 2077 offered in first person.
If the upcoming CP game offers or forces a 3rd person mode, it’ll be a real letdown to me.
Johnharlock
Without 3rd person is useless to have your own dress character, hairstyle or everything about you…it s a step in the past, like play at “operation wolf” an 80′ videogame.
I love cyberpunk and everytimes I play it ,I tell myself how nice it would have been if the view could be changed.
Worried_Raspberry_43
No third Person, but give more mirrors (in vehicles too) and reflection, so that I can see myself.
