Was always optimistic about it because this was their dream game
Looks like Konami releasing outdated build footage created a lot of criticism which in turn a lot a fire up bloober ass. Everything they’ve shown since then has been great

I really thought this game was DOA after the first trailer failed to impress people… This may be one of the biggest surprises of the year, at least in terms of review scores.

I never got into the Silent Hill games but genuine question for fans, what happens to Silent Hill 1? You never hear about it, everything seems to be with 2. Was it just bad and the made a much better game in 2? Is it necessary for understanding what’s going on?

Wow, another remake…how exciting. Gaming industry keeping us forever a decade behind because they can’t come up with any new ideas.
I can see SH2 being the kind of game that will review highly but be very harshly criticised by fans of the original. I’m cautiously optimistic but will probably wait until people have it in their hands.

Pay extra to play early is super lame. I don’t want to buy it just for that.
I’m super excited about this one. I’m a huge fan of horror games but I was 7 years old when the original came out and never got a chance to play it. I did however play silent hill 4 when I was a kid and even though I could never figure out how to make it out of the subway station, that game has stuck with me for a long time
