What’s the source on this? I’ve been playing Valorant for three years now, still haven’t encountered a single cheater. The anti-cheat is so invasive on your computer that it’s damn near bulletproof.

Wonder if this includes compromised account suspensions/bans. Because mine was compromised due to them implementing Mfa in the worst way possible, and I got banned because the Russian hacker used hacks (go figure). Thankfully Riot looked over my support ticket and had mercy on me and I got my account back.

Tarkov is literally unplayable because of cheaters
And you have no idea how you die 90% of the times
You’ll never really know if you died legitemately, if the items in the locked rooms aren’t already sucked up and what not..

now that Valorant is on consoles they also have to deal with cheaters using a device called XIM that allows the use keyboard and mouse on consoles which is a huge advantage against controller users

Number of closet cheaters will be way higher. Also keep in mind that valorant does not have a replay system.

Its really shameful how common cheating in video games has become. I don’t understand how these people justify what they are doing, unless they are doing it for monetary reasons. (For example, people farm in Tarkov to sell gear/currency/accounts.) I don’t support that but I understand why someone would do it.
However, the concept of cheating just because you want to win really baffles me. To me, the whole point of games is to challenge yourself against others, to sharpen your abilities, to learn something. I want to engage in a fair competition.
It is quite upsetting that so many people are willing to ruin it for everyone else. They strip away the satisfaction of so many people for their own selfish gain, and seemingly have no remorse for doing so.
As unimportant as this issue is in the grand scheme of life, I’m very interested in the psychology and would love for more studies to be done on this!
