I have a laptop which supports memory overclocking and i have 3200 mhz ram but I am having trouble getting to run at over 2666 mhz. I've been using this guide but the timing settings they list don't match up perfectly with the ones I see. These are the settings I see. The guide says too loosen up the timings for overclocking. Which ones am i suppose to raise? I've tried raising tCL, tRCD/tRP, tRAS, and tCWL. Are there any others I'm supposed to raise? By how much?

When ever I put the memory ratio above 10 it refuses to boot. Also when tightening the timmings is there an order that should do it?

Your 3200Mhz RAM presumably has an XMP profile that specifies the timings it works with at various different speeds. Most motherboards that support memory overclocking will support using that XMP profile. You pick the speed in the profile you want to use and the motherboard pulls the timings from the XMP profile for that speed.

If your motherboard doesn’t, for some reason, support reading the XMP profile, then their used to be a program that would let you read the timings manually from the XMP profile (while running at a stock speed) and you could then use those values from the XMP profile to manually configure the timings on your motherboard. I don’t remember what that program was that could read the XMP profile for you so you’d have to find it or someone else here can chime it with its name.
