Or at least some key missions so we could have a deeper connection with Jackie and mama Welles. He was definitely gone too soon ๐Ÿ˜”

Yup, personally I would like the city or the streets to give more recognition to V as one of the best mercs in NC once you reach 50 Street Cred or maybe when you can meet Hanako at the (forgotten) hembers. I dont really care for Jackie but I suppose its for that same reason. In any case Im glad that theres very few things I would like to see in the game, it almost has everything.

I agree. Especially with the corpo/nomad backstory. I find it a little off-putting when you travel around the city freely for the first time, and all the fixers introduce themselves to you like you’re new to the city. But Padre, I did a job for you in the montage.

I’d pay good money for a DLC that’s just a bunch of gigs you can do with Jackie & T-Bug before the heist.

  4. Looks fun, but V was relatively weak during this period. Getting beat up by random street thugs and all that. I really enjoy being a god and tossing people.

I would absolutely pay good money for a prequel DLC that presented this whole time period.

Honestly. These 6 months interest me more than anything in the main game.

I woulda loved a grounded less power fantasy rags to riches start like this. Play through the perspective of a low league merc..

for the love OF EVERYTHING HOLY we NEED that DLC. Some fan project needs to make it, submit to CDPR and get it approved for a profit share

On top of that: I wish they were different for Corpo and Nomad instead of kind of pigeon-holing us all into Street Kid.

  9. LurkingPhoEver

Being able to play out these 6 months would have also given people an even better connection to Jackie and T. I really hate that this was a montage.

I feel that way every time I start a new character

    Tbh this is what I’m hoping Orion is…. Anything to see my choomba Jackie again ; ;

  12. 100% agreed. The whole first few hours of the game feel like a narratively disjointed mess. It badly could have used this section to flesh things out.

omfg is guns sounded like battlefield weapons

I need to know what happend with corpo V and Jackie at the border! What did the cartels want with me????

  15. Dokta_Jones

Absolutely, I think it would have been an awesome intro to the game and teaching you how the controls work instead of the bland BD from T-Bug

Personally I’d love to see a more fully fleshed out Corpo backstory. The idea of performing high scale industrial sabotage sounds really fun.

CDPR could release a surprise dlc ,,

    The lost 6 months

Oh don’t make me cry again…it could be a very..very good DLC. We had not that much time together, he was our friend and I believe the only true friend in this game.

Yeah, I always thought it would be cool to have a longer โ€œintroโ€ period, where youโ€™re just a low level merc rat doing low paying gigs, scraping by for low tier gear and avoiding skulled enemies. Iโ€™m a huge fan of RPGs where you can find enemies that will destroy you without a second thought if you stray too far from the beaten path, and this could set up Night City for players in a way that makes it feel both full of opportunity and danger. This also would have gave the developers another โ€œActโ€ to have events unfold and change depending on your choices, like you could see the gang from Edgerunners on the news in this Act just as a small example.

Definitely my biggest beef with the game. Had it since day one, and loved it since. Had a few bugs here and there, mostly crashing, around 5 or so instances. Just finished my second playthrough, and man.. I haven’t been this in love with a game since Gears of War’s original trilogy.
