I got the doubleclick on one of my 502’s and replaced it with a v3, and now i can’t enable the freespin because it always scrolls things by itself (just moving the mouse makes the wheel roll) – which was the reason i bought it. thanks razer.
i have an OG 502 at work and it still works perfectly, being by far the oldest and most beaten up of the 3.

I got a G603 that developed a double-click issue after 1 year of use, and a Chinese mouse called the A4Tech X7 Spider Mouse also started double-clicking after about 5 years.
I decided to buy some Huano switches to replace the stock switches on both mice and paid someone to solder them.
Both mice have been working fine for over a year now.

Mine G503 hero – worked flawlessly for 5 years, would’ve work more but I swapped it for GPX2.
If you want non double click G502, maybe look at G502X? It has optical switches so it can’t double click by definition.

What about the razer naga which had a faulty right click button. I had to use the ‘1’ as right click for years. Thank goodness for programmable buttons.
Then, while not a mouse, you have the corsair K100 keyboard which can just decide to “nope” and freeze requiring a full unplug and replug to regain functionality.
I think K100 takes the cake though, as it is the only thing here above 200 USD that has such a major and still unresolved issue.

On my first 502 I got the double click and hold down problem. On my second one it’s working good but binding buttons is a pain

I’ve been burned so many times. I buy steel series for when I only need two side buttons. They last forever especially on click heavy stuff like Diablo games. I keep a Corsair scimitar I only use for MMOs and as long as I swap them, the scimitar gets a decent life and even when I’ve had clicking issues I’ve found fixes. Razer made some good ones like twenty years ago, garbage now.

Mice are the bane for me. I can take absolutely any mice that nobody has had any issues with ever and they’ve inherited from their grandpa and I guarantee it’s going to die within a year or two.

I bought a DeathAdder V3 Pro a year and a half ago. It has the dreaded scroll wheel issue where it’ll scroll up when I’m trying to scroll down. Doesn’t have any double clicking issues, so silver lining right there.

Logitech started using the wrong switches in their mice. You can relatively easily swap them out with the right switches and permanently eliminate the double click problem.

I have an old Logitech G502. The only problem is has had so far is the wheel got stuck a few times. I just spin it the other way and work it loose, and it is still a fine mouse.

G502 is super easy to fix, just replace the shitty cheap Omron micro switches for better ones and you are good to go for another 10 years

i got both g502x lightspeed and basilisk v3, I haven’t had any problems for 2 years. I game on them heavily too like competitive fps and rts. maybe it’s a survivor bias thing

You can try Naga Pro V2. It’s using optical switches so no double clicking. They also upgraded the scroll so we will see how long it lasts. My old Naga pro v1 had issues with the scroll…

I had all of the Corsair and Logitech ones everyone loves.. Just kept bugging out after 2 months. The most resilient one I have now and we bought 4 for work is the Razer Naga Pro V2. They are being clicked to death with no issues except the awful software. Is this to do with the optical switches?
