I'd completed all of the side missions and all but the final story missions on Cyberpunk. Then I went on holiday and the big update landed.

All of my attributes and skills were reset. I was so sad that I didn't bother picking it up again.

I'm now a year down the line and want to finish the game. Problem is I can't really remember the mechanics so I don't know how to construct the build with all the attribute / perk points I have.

I know on my original playthrough I was a really good netrunner with decent stealth and a sniper – I could often wipe out all the enemies by hacking them before they even figured out where I was. I used power weapons over tech. I'm not particularly wedded to that approach though.

Can anyone give me a build using the 56 Attribute Pts and 58 Perk points that will be straightforward enough for me to complete the final story missions.

Thanks!

stealth and sniper? 20 att. points and 20 perk points in cool, 20 and 20 in reflex (or intel if you want running) throw the the rest wherever you want

for large group hacking get a raven microcyber, go see a runner and get the contagion hack for damage and memory wipe for stealth takedowns (or just mine it whatever)

optical camo and the raven are imo the only specific cyberware pieces you need, the rest can be general health and armor

kinda depends on the weaponry you have around, or at least want to use. like shotguns, heavy weapons, and blunt weapons are body. I think automatics and blades are reflexes, and pistols and rifles are cool. So pick some gear you want to use and you can easily come up with a build you like.

It should be said that you don’t need a specific build to win, any number of them will do fine based on your gear/cyberware

I went Netrunning sniper till lvl 20 or so until it became kinda boring to take out everything before they notice you… and when shit hits the fan you are paper thin tbh.
Now running with a max body max tech and 15 reflex build with shotgun. I just dash into people and obliterate them it’s a lot of fun and VERY strong with the adrenaline perks, auto heal and berserk OS.

I’ve got a Smartweapon/Pistol/Netrunning Build, a Blade/throwable Build and have a Melee/Blunt//LMG Build now. Every build is super fun for completely different reasons

Can’t really say for perks, as that’s personal preference, but things have definitely changed.

Max your Intelligence if you’re a Netrunner. Stealth and iirc, Snipers, are in Cool, so probably Max that as well. The remaining 16 points, I’d probably do Reflex for better maneuverability. Tech if you want a lot of Cyberware.

Also, you can use this: [Home of the Cyberpunk 2077 universe — games, anime & more](https://www.cyberpunk.net/en/build-planner?a=33333&b=&r=&i=&t=&c=&e=) in order to plan your build if you’re unsure. It has all the perk and attribute points if you have the DLC, but just use as much as you have currently and you should be good.

IMO it’s kinda hard to go wrong at the end with all the points you get. Broadly speaking, the two most powerful builds in the game are probably going all in on netrunning with max intelligence or dumping intelligence and using a katana with a sandevistan. You can also do something like gorilla arms with Sandevistan which is a bit weaker than katana but arguably more fun since you can pickup enemies and throw them as a finisher which doesn’t get old. IMO the Sandevistan builds are more fun but that’s just my opinion.

For any build you probably want at least 15 reflex for all the air dash perks and also at least 15 tech for the cyberware capacity stuff. Then decide if you want to use a cyberdeck for hacking or a sandevistan which will dictate if you put points in int or not. Then, just pick what sounds good.

It depends on what type of build you want and what operating system you’re using.

Cyberdeck: Intelligence and Cool, stealthy and precise

Sandevistan: Reflexes and Technical, agile and deadly

Berserk: Body and Technical, brute force and strength

15 reflex, 20 INT, 20 TECH, 20 Cool, 5 body – gorilla arms for 6 extra points to body. There is a lot you could do with this. If you don’t want to use snipers and pistols switch the points from cool to body but I prefer this.

I did not, and still do not, enjoy the skills tree changes after the update to 2.0. I much preferred my build selectively picked around the things I didn’t want. The current system, for example, forces me to pick pistol “focus” in order the gain access to the perks above it in the skill tree. My only gripe at the game, but with mods I can take “focus” then turn the effect and sound off, but I shouldn’t have to.

    Endeth the rant.

I had lots of fun with shotguns and revolvers, a pinch of netrunning and a lot of brute force and ignorance. Might do a nimble, stealth sniper next. Or full net run Ninja. If you’re on PC I highly recommend Cyber Engjne Tweaks. You can max every tree and every skill and attribute, even street cred and max level from the start, you’re own custom “New game +”.

Just go the fireworks route with contagion and mark V.

    20 int for the overclock.

20 reflex for the stamina and air dash

20 tech because the lb 20 perks are super strong.

18 body because health is good but adrenaline is better.

This build can go loud with the contagion and mark V, stealth with the memory wipe-malfunction-burnout combo. Is tanky and regain a ton of health, does a crazy amount of AOE damage and melts bosses

If you ignore hacking you can go 20/20/20/3/18 and be able to use any combat form, any cyberware, and you’ll be nearly unkillable

  13. Penguinho

Flowchart it: Do you want to use a Sandevistan to slow time?

If yes, then your choices, broadly, are guns, knives or swords. Go 15 Tech, 15 Body, 15 Reflex, 15 Cool. If you want to use ARs, SMGs or swords, go 20 Reflex. If you want to use pistols or knives, leave Reflex at 15 and go 20 Cool. Body you just want the HP regen perks; Tech you want the +cyberware capacity perks; Reflex you want to get Airdashing; Cool you want Stealth. Take everything in whichever weapon tree you want.

If you _don’t_ want to use a Sande, then you either want to be a netrunner or a berserker. Netrunning is basically going to be 20 Body, 20 Tech, 20 Int, quickhack everything to death. Everyone else is going to have better advice there. With the other build, you want something like 20 Body, 20 Tech, 15+ Ref for airdashing, and you’re going for melee weapons and just generally being unkillable with tons of Cyberware and all the center tree Body perks.

anything is basically viable. if you are playing of hard, hacking is one of the worst imo. anything else is great since you can life steal via your attacks.

Keep this save file and start a new character. Most perks have been changed anyway, so you’ll be essentially playing a new game. This is the best way to learn again and it’s exactly what I’d done.

i finished the game with lvl 30 or something on hard difficulty and the last fight took ages (probably 20 tries and grinding) and i had to craft weapon mods before, so sadly i cant recommend anything of value ^^ definitely going for a second playthrough.

  17. IllllIIllllIIlllIIIl

20 in katana tree, 20 in tech tree for cyberware space, rest in body and you can just slash everything with sandvistan and never die, stealth pistol is cool but you will struggle against smasher unlike with melee where you destroy him before he does anything, i used byakko for swarms and scalpel for bosses until i had 100% crit then razor with mods is better for everything

  18. Zerohazrd

Make a save, spend your points, play around. If you don’t like the build reload the save from before you spent them all. Then try again until you’ve built a character you like. There’s also a glitch that allows you to get basically infinite perk points so you could theoretically get all the available perks in each tree. Or there was a glitch. Unsure if it’s patched.

Get over the edge to be an edgerunner.

Get over the line to get flatlined.

  20. Melchizedek_VI

    Attrib: Body, Reflex, Tech

    Chrome: Yes

    Weapons: Katana, Katana, Katana

Playstyle: Cosplay as a flying blender that shoots rockets from its wrists and EMPs from its ass. Slice gonks stupid enough to not be immediately dismembered to shreds. Turn cyberpsychos into finely peeled cyberpotatoes. Jam a katana into the visor of hacking nerds while they rant about cyberspace and the blackwall or whatever.

  21. HydroCya

Go blades with sandevistan with 20 in reflexes, 20 in body, 20 in tech and 18 in cool. If you use the build right you can defeat a max tax squad in around 15 seconds

  22. VikingRaptor2

I put in everything but intelligence. I’m almost never a hacker. Sandevastan and blades, with the Problem Solver SMG. Godly.

  23. Ahward45

Idk what id calll it but i run max reflexes, tech, and body with 18 in cool. Electric Projectile launcher, sandi, focus ways to improve crit rate and mitigation. Kyubi is my stealth weapon, senkoh with a supercharger and skull puncher weapon mods, you choose the 3rd weapon. My cyberware perks are focused on dot, headshot multipliers, and improvements to shooting(weapon handling, reload speed, aim down sights)

Combat affectiveness is a precise, good dmg, high fire rate semiautomatic that has range as well as optics for range to deal with stealth. Bolt shot when using the senkoh is broken. No timed release, just charge and let rip. The arc of electricity will decimate a group of bad guys, lvl 55 engineering ads setting those hit with arc on fire as well. This is why i was increasing my dot perks. Use the projectile launcher to stack pyro, the synergy is insane.
